create photoart that changes perception
Creative practice
In my work, I explore extreme and in-between states of life — moments of vulnerability, transformation, and instability, where the body, time, and perception become especially intense.
I’m interested in how these states can be expressed through images and felt on an emotional level. For me, photography is not about documenting reality. It’s a tool for close observation and for exploring subtle, almost invisible processes. I work with one camera lens, and I deliberately keep this limited point of view.
It’s part of my method and helps me focus on the intensity of presence rather than on effect. I don’t use digital manipulation, retouching, or Photoshop — not in editing and not in printing. This precision matters to me because it keeps my relationship to the image direct and preserves its inner meaning and authenticity.
Sources of inspiration
My sources of inspiration are the space around me. I find beauty in everyday things, for example: the way light falls on a bedspread, or the way dust plays in the sun. Everything I see and feel evokes an inner response in me and charges me with creativity.
Path in art
My path into art started with drawing and preparing to enter an architecture college. But my further education took me into medicine, where I studied optics. That was when my interest in photography, visual perception, and ways of seeing the world really began. Over time, I decided to leave medical practice and focus fully on visual art. Today, photography is my main tool for exploring reality, perception, and inner experience.
Philosophy of creativity
My art explores philosophical and spiritual sides of human experience.
It’s not about giving a clear answer, but about creating space for a personal inner response, where viewers connect what they see with their own beliefs and feelings. What matters to me is that the work stays with people after they see it — like an aftertaste that makes them look at everyday life more closely and rethink it.
If a piece touches something deep inside, it can become a starting point for personal change and for shaping the reality a person truly wants.
